However, the age-old question constantly arises after receiving a card... How long do you keep them for? Greeting cards are typically kept in a shoebox, drawer, or closet until they are eventually thrown away. It's a shame because often times these cards contain such special messages from our loved ones. Not to mention, paper cards are a substantial hit on the environment.

The first online greeting card was sent in 1994. Since then, technology has innovated this process many times over. However, one segment has never changed. The delivery mechanism for e-cards continues to be through email. This means the only ways to go back and see them again are to search through your inbox or manually download them onto a storage platform.
